How it works
You play too. The app keeps the music.
No one can guess when the music will stop, not even you, so every round is fair and everyone can join in.
- Press Start. The music plays and everyone dances round the chairs.
- The music stops at a random moment. Grab a chair!
- Whoever's left standing is out. Take a chair away and the music starts again by itself.
- Last one sitting wins.

Musical Chairs
The classic race for a seat when the music stops.
- Put out a ring of chairs, one fewer than the number of players.
- Everyone walks or dances round the chairs while the music plays.
- When it stops, everyone grabs a seat. Whoever's left standing is out.
- Take away a chair and play again, until one winner is left sitting.

Musical Statues
Dance, then freeze!
- Everyone dances while the music plays.
- When it stops, everyone freezes like a statue.
- Anyone who moves, wobbles or giggles is out.
- The last statue standing wins.

Musical Bumps
Down to the floor, quick!
- Everyone dances while the music plays.
- When it stops, everyone sits down on the floor as fast as they can.
- The last one to sit down is out.
- Keep going until there's one winner.

Pass the Parcel
Everyone gets a turn to unwrap.
- Wrap a prize in lots of layers of paper.
- Sit in a circle and pass the parcel round while the music plays.
- When it stops, whoever's holding it takes off one layer.
- Whoever unwraps the last layer wins the prize.
Tip: hide a sweet or a sticker between the layers.

You set the timing
Music plays for a random time between two limits you choose, anywhere from 5 seconds to 3 minutes. Pauses can last from 1 second to 2 minutes. -
Hands-free
Auto pause and auto resume keep the game going by itself. Or turn auto resume off and press Resume when everyone's ready. -
Countdown, if you want it
Show how long until the music stops, or hide it to keep everyone guessing. -
Dancing friends
A star, a monkey, a llama, a dinosaur and a dancer bop along while the music plays and freeze when it stops. Pick one, or get a different one each time. -
Louder with AirPlay
Send the music to a speaker or your TV with AirPlay, and change the volume from the app. -
